Paul Biddle of The Toy Peddler brought along a batch
of restored redlines being passed off as originals to show
collectors some clues of what to look for when buying redlines.

They look pretty good, don't they?

This is just a small example of how pictures can be deceiving.

If you're ever in doubt as to the authenticity of a redline, I suggest you
visit the Redlines Online Message Board and ask your questions there.
The regulars at RLOL are some of the most knowledgeable in the
Hot Wheels community and very helpful in identifying restored redlines.
